Ya, I understand.... just would think the owner of N&C would find time in his busy day to talk to HIS customer he just profited off of given he just had a train wreck of a boat sale. Really shouldn't require a 3rd party to go between. And phones/email work in the snow, not buying that.

But again, hats off to Tracy and Roswell for going the extra mile.

I spoke with the Service manager at N+C Marine a few days ago who was very quick to offer assistance. He provided me with his personal cell phone number to contact him if needed while their facility was closed due to the incoming weather. I am for obvious reasons not sharing anyone's personal cell phone number. N+C Marine has been nothing less than responsive and concerned with the situation in my dealings with them in this matter. If maxxwell needs assistance in contacting them while they are closed due to the weather he knows how to get a hold of me. Sometimes patience pays off though. I am sure they are dealing with a lot up there trying to get through this crazy weather.

I live about 60 miles from N&C and I have to give him the benefit of the doubt with the weather. Nobody has moved here for 3 days yesterday was the first time I got out and that wouldn't have happened without a 4WD. When you do get in touch with him make sure you mention how his business has been spotlighted on this forum. Now that he is in the limelight its up to him to shine or choke.

Glad to see the Thread title has Been adjusted to something more appropriate!!

It's amazing what can be accomplished with a little communication and all the facts! It appears the lynch mob has retreated, lol

Cheers to Tracy and Roswell and hopefully credit will be given to any of the other party's when / if earned.

No. Still missing a phone call or email from the N&C OWNER to Max.... not hiding behind his staff. Should go something like this:

            1. Sorry about he delay in me contacting you and for your troubles with your purchase from N&C. We take pride in our sales and should have caught this crack. We are better than this, and want you to enjoy your N&C boat for years to come.

            2. We have contacted Dockside and will cover charges for the repairs Tracy graciously arranged. We stand behind our sales.

            3. Please accept our apologies. We hope to earn your business again.

            N&C, where are you???

Ok, here is the latest update.
We spoke with the owner (Nathan) and Service Manager (Wayne) who expressed concern and truely want to make this situation right. It was brought up that this should have never gotten this far, and I do agree and there were alot of unforeseen things that lead up to this.

So, the end of this terrible thread is this. Nathan and Wayne from N&C Marine have stepped up and offered to help with the cost for the install that Dockside Marine will be doing. Tracy from Roswell is providing the painted parts, and shipping at no cost.

It was asked that I make a statement expressing N&C Marine's willingness to offer help and that they did not know the distance that we would have had to travel in order to return to them for the parts to be installed, further more, because it was a consignment, their "30-Day Warranty" or any connection to the boat does not apply. I applaud N&C Marine for their offer to assist in the labor cost and feel that it is the right thing to do.

As stated before, Tracy from Roswell has been a great liaison has been there each and every time I called. N&C Marine has also stood behind this unfortunate situation and I thank all parties for the contributions to this situation.

Quinner- fairly certain everyone would appreciate you stick to topics like rotten stringers and failed gauges on the older Nautiques where you contribute something of value to the forum. Adult conversation here, like observed earlier, your behavior belongs on Wakeworld.

I'm with you on Michelle and Barry....but If I dropped 50k on an I device. I'd expect a cell phone call from the dead Paul Allen after seeing the first blue screen.

It appears that this problem has come to a reasonable solution. For that reason, and in the interest of preventing further unnecessary and off-topic dialog in this thread, I am going to close it now. If additional information needs to be added here, let me know and I'll re-open the thread.
