Surf tab system being developed for classic SAN SSN 95-06

I am currently in the process of developing a simple, affordable, easy to install, manually actuated surf tab system for the classic SAN hull. I have everything mocked up on my boat right now (97 SSN) and it looks like it should work as planned (pending water test results). I was wondering if owners of newer generation SAN's can post or PM me some pictures of the transom/swim platform bracket area below the rub rail. I want to make sure my design will work with all v drives from 95-06 and that they didnt make any drastic changes through out the years. I am also looking for opinions on what other people would look for in a manually actuated trim tab system (activation time/ease, looks, price, etc). All thoughts and opinions are welcome here. Thanks.

I'll get some of my 03 after work. Is this going to be a manual NSS style sliding one or one like malibus that swings out.

This one was made by a member back in September.

The plan is to make permanent mounted tabs for both sides that will manually slide out depending on which side you want to surf. Those pics helped a lot. My main concern is the little ridge on the transom just inside the platform mounting bracket. I also want to make sure Nautique did not change the location of platform brackets as my goal is to make this bolt directly on without having to drill any holes. So if someone could measure from the edge of the boat straight across to the top and bottom of their platform bracket, that will confirm if everything is the same as my 97. Thanks.

Depending on the angle you take the photo at, the brackets appear to be +/- 0.5 inch away from where they appear in other photos. I was in a hurry because the sun was setting, so the photos aren't great. I tried to pick ones taken from the same angle. I can try to get better ones tomorrow.

Thanks a lot, looks to be exactly the same as my 97. I need to go out to the shop and take some measurements but it all looks similar.

Here's a link to another DIY NSS system. A real clean build, almost looks factory.

Snap a picture of the bottom corner of the transom. My guess is that the corner design will be different than the 210. I will only be making these for the 210 shape to start with.

I don't get why nautique doesn't release something like Moomba's Flow Surf system for the older boats without lync.

Yeah i would like to have thaat. But i bet the transom on those moooooooooombas are reinforced.

I bet a good backing plate would spread the load tho.
