I can't wait to see the final product! I think the price is more than fair considering the cost of the CNC and tig welding.. I sure it's going to be cherry if you going through all the machining cost's. I can't wait to make a purchase!!

How is this mounted on the transom? Are there backing plates for the inside of the hull? Seems like alot of force on an area not designed for it.

Also keep in mind, people WILL forget to retract this and then go to high speeds, there any way to ensure safety when this happens?

They are mounted through the platform bracket holes which already have reinforcements built into the hull. Additional backing plates wouldn't be a bad idea...

Since these are manually activated, i have not come up with any safety device.

I like this design in Stainless for the plungers would look cleaner.

Finally was able to pull the boat back out of the water to do some tweaks... we had some flooding here and the lake level rose 2-3 ft and logs/debris were everywhere ... I could just barely keep the boat out of the water in the hoist. Dock sections were 8-10 inches under water. So anyways I will be doing some more testing hopefully this week. More wake pics/ballast details to come.

No major updates yet... I have been really busy with work and trying to get some time in on the water. I want to put as much time as I can on these before they are released. I can say I did an unintentional stress test on them last week. Took a few sets surfing and decided to hop on the wakeboard for a bit. The boat got up on plane with one tab fully extended, I noticed it and so did the driver after 10-15 seconds. Brought the boat back down to idle and retracted the tab with no issues. No damage to boat or surf tab.

The surf tabs dont exist until I say they do... Product pictures won't be released until I have a final CNC cut piece to show everyone.
