I realize this is a bit off topic, but since I upgraded my '07 SAN 220 to a '14 210 in the off-season and I'm fearful I'll have no lakes with water, I figured I'd turn to the PN community for a few thoughts. I live in Central California and my lake of choice is Millerton (actually the only place I ever go). Since it looks like a mudhole these days, I'm wondering if any of you folks can recommend any other lakes in Central California that have better odds of having water.

Im not sure if Wolf Lakes in Sanger is doing memberships anymore, but they had a nice wakeboarding lake with a couple rails on it. I have a membership at Ironwood Ranch in Arvin (http://www.ironwoodlakes.com/index.html) The water is always 8ft deep there and glass.

x2 on Bass Lake, but not for great water unless you are in the water pulling right at 8 am or 7:59 pm. The water is owned by PG&E, and this is the first (or maybe the second) year that they are going to let the lake fill to capacity after the seismic retrofit of the dam. Whether there will be enough snow melt for it to fill is a different question. Crossing my fingers since I will be there for two weeks in late July.Eric, Phoenix AZ

I had a place on the delta foe 11 years and there was always glass water to be found there. The only thing in the Delta is you better know your way around and how things can change with the tide,,,,can be very dangerous if your new there.RON

Folsom Lake hit the 400 feet mark today that takes off the 5 MPH limit. The lake filled 40 feet in just over a month. http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/q...23&span=30days

Said F/U to Cali and Bass Lake in 2003 and bought a place at Hayden Lake, ID. What a dream and waterfront homes 1/4 the price. Smooth water daily and hardly ever need a flag b/c no one is there to run over my kids. Fly 2 hrs instead of pulling a boat for 4+.
Looks like low water levels at Bass Lake can now be due to political or environmental pressures. No thanks.
Give me freedom, smooth water, no politics, my Nautique and my guns.
Love Idaho!
