This cover came with the boat when it was purchased from TVSki London. Website address is www.tvski.co.uk. Try your local Nautique Dealer or contact TVSki they maybe able to help you.

The Nautique covers are not very good. Nobody that I know who has one likes it at all. You're much better off having a cover custom-made by a local shop. I love mine.

Hey now, I like mine. I had mine reinforced at the snaps so that I could tow with it. After the reinforcement it stays on, and does not move at all when towing.

That is pretty much all I use it for since the boat is garage kept all the rest of the time.

I recently towed a 226 from Florida to Georgia with a Nautique cover on it. I had to stop about five times due to straps breaking, coming loose, etc. I hate those covers.

Mine was custom-made by a shop in Ohio. It is Sunbrella. I have had it for three years, and it has only stretched a little bit, and it is still completely waterproof. I'd buy another one in a second.

that cover of yours looks great. do i recall that it has snaps on the undersides of the rub rails? if so, how do you like that? were the snap male pieces hard to screw into the rub rails? does it also have a drawstring to pull it tight?

Thanks! Yes, there are snaps under the rubrail. I haven't had any issues at all with the snaps. You can't see them when the cover isn't on, and since they're on the underside of the rail, they never snag anything. They were installed by the cover company, so I'm not sure about the difficulty of installation. There is no drawstring, and none is necessary with this cover. It stays nice and tight, even while towing down the interstate. As you can see in the picture above, the front of the cover is cut out for the crash pad on a Ram-Lin trailer. This works very well, and I use a small bungee cord through a loop in the very front point of the cover to hold the front flap down.

My Custom Cover

Here is a picture of the custom cover I ordered for my 210. It is a 2-piece snap-on (no draw-string) w/vents. Kinda pricy, but it works great. Also, I can leave on the front part when it is cool out to keep the wind out of the cockpit. I ordered it from my dealer Thomas Marine in Checotah, OK. They ordered it from somewhere in Arkansas. The dealer installed it for me, and I know it was a pretty big job.

nautique jeff...thanks tons. very trick. do the cutouts for the legs of the tower simply velcro together? your set up looks perfect for a boat we have..an open bow that we use on a big lake where we need to cover the boat from bow to stern at night. i just cannot bear to put snaps into the gelcoat and around the window frame, so your setup looks perfect. i have a drawstring cover that is hard to put on while the boat is on the trailer on land. it should be an interesting situation to try to put it on while the open bow is tied up to a buoy bobbing around in the waves and i am in a dinghy along side it trying to tie a knot in the drawstring. seems like your setup is the answer.

okwakebdr...yours is trick, too. beautiful boat. does the larger, cockpit cover have snaps along the base of the front window or not? the idea of separate bow and cockpit covers might make sense. separately...you near okc? i am a pchs and ou grad a while back.

Mine has zippers around the tower legs. I like it better than the velcro. The cover is pretty easy to put on in the water, too.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, there are a few snaps in the fiberglass...between the windshield and the open bow there are about 12-15 snaps. There are also 4 or 5 more in front of the open bow. The rest of the snaps are under the rub rail and under the platform. The two separate pieces make it easy to put on also. It fits VERY tight. Makes the last couple of snaps kinda difficult to get on, but it is great when going down the highway.

Yeah...I actually live in OKC - spend most of our lake time at Lake Eufaula. I am an Edmond North and Oklahoma City University grad myself. I am a big OU fan though. BOOMER SOONER!!

Where are you in North Cal? I've been to Sacramento (actually Orangevale) a couple of times. It is really nice up there. Lake Folsom seems to be a pretty cool lake. I would love to go to Shasta sometime...but that's a long way to haul a boat from OK.

basically i spent my youth on summer weekends at lake eufaula....in the belle star area. have only been on the lake a couple of times in the last 10 years, but it is a great spot. where on eufaula do you boat?

i am in the sf bay area. folsom is a great lake and shasta really rocks for houseboating and such. best place locally for good water for skiing and wakeboarding is the sacramento/san joaquin river delta east of sf about 1.5 hours.
