I don't think this has been mentioned here before but I wanted to make sure that anyone ordering a new 230 knows they can order a surf pipe for it from the factory. The flat plate around the surf pipe was added by Nautique to reduce the rooster tail that is caused by the surf pipe itself. On the G series boats this isn't required since those boats already have a sizeable rooster tail (and the surf pipe didn't make a difference). Enjoy!
