    Nautique Factory Tour

Had a chance to visit the Nautique factory in Orlando this week and take a tour. It was far better than I imagined and I learned so much information. Basically you get to see the entire manufacturing process from raw materials to finished boat. Larry was an awesome host, huge thanks to him for taking the time to show us around! If you are ever around Orlando, I'd highly recommend arranging for a tour.

BTW- I was shocked at the number of G boats vs. all others in production. I don't know the exact numbers, but from looking at things it looked like on this particular day, 2 G boats for ever 1 boat of any other kind.

G boats smash anything else they make handily in sales numbers. Larry is a pretty great guy glad you got to meet him.

I'm guessing 10:1 vee drive to DD. Or...did you even see any DD there?

Once you ride in a G boat you realize just how special they are compared to any other boat on the market my ANY manufacture. I am coming from a Tige Z3 and after riding in a G last year I realized the G was twice the boat (and twice the price)LOL

Do they offer daily tours, or do special arrangements need to be made? I'm going to be in Florida for a few days in July.

There is no "tour schedule" ....but tours are generally available any/every day something special or "secret" is not going on. Just call, email, or pm the user name on here. They will set you up.

Larry told me they give tours Monday-Thursday at 10 and 2. It usually lasts around an hour. I went through with my Dad last month and it was definitely worth the trip. We also saw one DD 200, several G's, and a couple 210's. We were fortunate enough to meet Mr. Meloon while on the tour. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating to us.

We also did a tour 2 weeks ago it was really cool to see what is involved in making a boat. Takes a lot more the you think they said they do 9 boats a day and about 2000 a year. Many of the build stations only have a hour to complete the task, They said they are looking to be able to do 10 boats a day in the future. Mostly G's like said before. They other interesting thing was that 70 % were Teal Blue. The said it's the big color recently would be interesting to see if they come out with a teal medal flake color scheme. Really makes you want to upgrade to a G after going to the tour.

Can't wait for summer and the lakes to hopefully full up more in Northern California 😁

my family of 5 took a tour on Monday.it was very neat to see how they put the entire boat together.we were even lucky enough to see them pull a brand new hull out of the mold. I actually called the same day we took the tour and they got us in.
