Rear cleat location for 2003 210

I'm looking for pictures or good measurements for where the factory rear pop-up cleats are located on a 2003 210. I guess 2002-2006 will be the same. This is what I'm looking at installing...

I'm actually looking at installing rear cleats this spring too. I'm not sure how different they are but these are the ones that came on my 03. They do come with a backing plate.

Here was the only photo I could really find.

I have considered the same. I found on my 2005 SANTE the existing retractable cleat is not the same design as Nautique Parts presently sell. I found the Attwood retractable cleat is identical to the ones on my 2005 SANTE.
I do no know if you have discovered the difference. I just like things matching, making it look factory installed.

Yeah I thought the Attwood looked similar (if not the same) to the one I attached.

I looked at those but much more cutting is required for those. You have to drill 4 holes and cut out a section between the 2 center holes. The Attwood models are much easier to install IMO. Thanks for the pic though. I couldn't remember if they went in front or behind the blower vent. I may look into placing behind the vent though as most other boats have cleats further back and mounting them in front of the blower vent isn't much different than tying to the pylon. I'm hoping there is enough flat area right behind the blower vent, but the hull begins to curve and I don't think the cleat will lay right. Thanks for the help!

I'm thinking about doing the same to my 04. Does anyone know if the boats that did not come with a rear cleat already have the hull reinforcements? I'm assuming the hull is reinforced at the cleat.

I'm almost positive mine doesn't have reinforcement as I've not noticed it before when running wiring. I haven't paid enough attention to my mid-cleats to see if they are reinforced, but plan on looking. Attwood's install info says to use plywood, but they offer backing plates. I haven't found a retailer that offers those yet though. I may just make some out of 1/2" plate. I will do more investigating before I make any cuts though!

Okay, looked at mine in more detail and fond I actually do have the ACCON Marine cleats which are these... http://www.nautiqueparts.com/cleat6p...arly04226.aspx
Looking at their website it looks as thought the design has changed some. http://shop.acconmarine.com/products...ine-cleat.aspx
I still like the Attwood model better from a install perspective though. Also looking at the areas I want to install them I won't have the room on the port side because the blower vent is in the way and won't give clearance below deck. So for now it looks like I will have to put this on a back burner and come up with other areas to mount or deal with the factory locations which really aren't different from what I'm doing now.

I just ordered the cleats from nautiqueparts a few weeks ago. The ones I recieved were the same as the ones currently on my boat, and the same as the ones on nautiqueparts photo. They do need a fair amount of space though, especially if you use the included backing plate.

So you have the cleats that require 4 holes and connecting the 2 center holes or the Attwood style with just 2 holes? NP.com offers both.
