    Removing Flight Control Tower

    Hey.

Considering purchasing a 2007 SAN 220. I have young kids who are not yet wake boarding. Can I remove the control tower for the next few years in anticipation? Would use as a tubing, learning and family cruising boat until the kids pick it up over the next few years (moving from a 20.5 Mariah)

Is 40k CDN for the 330HP a decent price?

    Much appreciated.

Unless you have storage issues (cant fit in garage)i would leave the tower on. Are you afraid they will climb on it or something? Small kids like shade and a bimini on the tower is great for that.

      Hi,
Same boats also with kids. I would not remove it. It is useful for sun protection and storage too.
It is more dangerous with kids the ski pylon on the sun deck. Also buy some sanopad (check nautiqueparts.com) for the fiber around sun deck. They love jumping from there and it is very slippery.
