    Alabama tornado destruction

Wasn't sure where to stick this... Video from local news station show damage done during yesterday's tornado outbreak. A marina about 50 miles away from me was hit pretty hard. A buddy of mine keeps his G23 there on a lift. His dock isn't shown in the footage, but I'm not real optimistic as those docks are on the main channel and completely unprotected. I haven't heard from him yet.

Looks like the fuel docks were completely torn from their location, many covered slips are now un-covered slips. The dry storage building looks like a complete loss. Condos on land have plenty of damage as well.

Looks terrible, hoping for the best for your friend. I have some customers in Athens Al that lost some buildings, but otherwise they are ok. It looks bad in pictures, but until you see the damage with your own eyes there is no way to comprehend.

Sounds like the G made it without anymore than some leaves thrown in it. Those docks made it fine... His cabin cruiser was on one of the docks in the marina that got a ride. From the pics it looked like the windshield was busted, torn the bimini, and maybe some other minor damage. Others were not as lucky.
