Hangtyte with old 210

Anybody using a Hangtyte device with an old 210 with an FCT/NDT tower? If so does it prevent water from pooling? I am about to have my upholstrey guy add tower feet cutouts to my cover and I was thinking now would be a great time to have a Hangtyte professionally installed as well. I know people were having good luck with the newer 210s/230s as long as they didn't trailer with them attached but wondering if people had the same results with the old 210? If you did install one and had success, did you mount it directly under the tower tow point or more aft?

Just have your upholstery guy add a few loops in key spots on your cover. I then take a strap and go over the tower to hold the cover up.
