    Z5 vs regular Bimini

I am looking at a new 210. What Bimini do you like Z5 or regular and why? Is the Z5 harder to take down when lowering the tower? Please let me know your likes and dislikes about your version.

I think it is a trade of priorities. With the Z5 you get storage but lose head room and the ability to fully lower tower.
2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop
    2010 SANTE 230 343 (280hrs)
pre 2010 - various open bow boats and jet skis

Z5 provides a lot of shade, which I like. I can put 3 surf boards on it. You do loose some headroom. Shade and storage were my deciding factors.

My wife and like to put the Bimini down most of the time and enjoy the sunshine and from what I understand you don't do that with a z5

yeah I would really like to compare the two bimini's side by side. Btw, I love the picture of someone skiing with the spray and all the sunset colors. Awesome!

I found a site called "google.com" and if you go there, type "Z5" in the search bar and press enter and when the site loads up, left click on Images at the top and you will see all sorts of Z5 pics.

Try the same with "regular bimini nautique 210"
              Hope that helps.
              Welcome to the site.

If you plan on lowering your tower often skip the Z5. If shade and storage is a higher priority then go Z5. If you have 4 REV 8s/10s on your tower and want a Z5 then it's purely for shade not storage (you'll be able to store 1 instead of 3 boards). I've had the Z5 on my last two boats and love it.
