Will a Pro Air fit on a 216 trailer?

Anyone know if the 99 Pro Air will fit on a late model trailer for a 216? Are there any other things to watch out for? I think the 216 is 4" longer than a Pro Air, is that actually correct, or is it a bigger difference?
Also, will the 216 trailer actually be longer overall?

    thanks,
    Jack

The strakes will more than likely land right on the bunks. I remember trying to do the same at the shop.

      Chris,
What do you mean the strakes will land on the bunks? Does the 216 trailer have bunks in the "middle" of the hull?
If it does, I guess it can't be used for the Pro Air?

      thanks,

        Milljack,

The pro Air had a special set of strakes. This is what distinguished
the pro Air with the Total Wake Control Hul from the Sport/Air
Nautique which used the Total Surface control Hull. As I understand
it, the strakes were used to help get the front of the boat higher in
and the rear of the boat lower producing a better wakeboard wake.
It is also why the Pro Air is not a very good waterski boat.

I don't know if the strakes will hit the bunks of a normal sport/air
trailer as I've never tried it.

CC did not call the boats 216 in 2002. They still used the sport/air
designation. According to the literature, the 2002 boat was 2" longer
than the 99 Pro Air without the platform. However, the 2002 was
        1.5" shorter with the platform.

        Regards,

I can not remember for sure, but I seem to remember that the PA trailer was different from the others. Call Ram-lim they will know, even if you do not have a Ramlin trailer.
