Hey everyone,
We are hosting Georgia's first Wake The World event on Thursday, June 19th. If you are not familiar with the charity organization, check out the website at www.waketheworld.org. We take kids from local children's homes out for a day on the lake to wakeboard, wakesurf, tube or just ride on the boats. If this is something that speaks to you and you would like to be a part of it, shoot a PM or send an email to waketheworldgeorgia@gmail.com. We are in need of some people with boats, volunteers, monetary donations and if you have a company that may want to donate items for goody bags. ie. stickers, water bottles, etc. We are taking out 20 kids this year, boys and girls ages 12-18 from the Rainbow Children's home in Dahlonega and the Bald Ridge Lodge in Cumming. Check out the website, and make a donation to the Georgia event, like our facebook page - Wake the World Georgia - and anything else that would help bring awareness. Let us know how you would like to be involved.
