    I just used the 50% lysol - 50% Hydrogen peroxide again on my dads boat (79' Chaparral). All i can say is WOW. My father never could get the scum off the sides and bottom of the boat for 20 some odd years. Hes tried everything (Industrial cleaner/Acid, Powerwashing, etc). We put this on last night and let it sit for 1 minute, and without even scrubbing, just a quick wipe off and the boat looked like brand spankin new. MG

      I used to use a Dow bathroom cleaner product - the one with the little scrubby boubbles on the can (spray). Worked great for taking the scum off. Oh yeah, takes the luster right off the boat too. Better think twice about using any abrasive. I'd stick with the purpose specific products from reputable marine companies like 3M.

        I second the muratic acid, you can buy it at your local WalMart....It is as simple as wiping it on (NO SCRUBBING) with a sponge and rinsing it off!! It simply disappears!!!
