    fair price?

    http://www.lauderdalelakesmarina.com...97&pov=3743146

I'm thinking of taking a look at this 05 SANTE. As long as everything checks out what do you guys think would be a fair price for this?

In 2010 I sold my mint 05 SAN team, great colors, tandem ramlin trailer in excellent condition for 34K... Needed to sell fairly quick, probably would've got 36-37K if I waited. That said, The fact of the new boats being priced so high, may have caused a market adjustment on these popular models. I would think a fair price for that boat would be around 36-37K if everything is nice.

Way high in my opinion. My buddy bought a 2005 SAN in great shape end of last season for $28k. That was a great deal, but I would say low to mid-30's tops. That color is not great for resale either (his was).

Oh yeah.. that is way high! I just picked my '05 SANTE with 650 hrs in good shape (Just needed a cleaning pretty bad). But I only paid $26,5K. Runs great, all stock and everything works.

I feel mid thirties is a good price, forties is getting close to the 2008 210, I agree with you twenty seems low, but I guess they were sold by desperate owners.

My buddy's 05 SAN that he bought for 28k came with a single axle trailer for that price along with some gear. So not a tandem, but still a trailer. I agree now (and I did when he told me about it) that he got a really great deal. Low 30's is fair. Mid-thirties if you find the one that is perfect for you (that exact, hard to find color combo you want, the right trailer, all the right add-ons, happens to be right down the street from you, etc.). Anything above that for this hull is too much (in my opinion).

The guys at Lauderdale will work with you. My brother was looking to buy a used 196 a few years back, and they sold him a new one for what he was willing to pay for a used one they had in stock.

I lucked out on my boat for $26,5. The guy was going to trade it in for G21 and just wanted to sell it. He sold it to me for what he would have gotten on trade. The trailer was a tandem, but I had to have it powder coated and new bunks put on. The boat interior was filthy (Some LA's Totally Awesome fixed that problem), but ran great. I did ton's of searching for long time and that boat is probably low-mid 30's.
