    Custom Sea-Dek 2012 210

I had some custom pieces made over this off season. Tell me what you think? This is on a 2012 210.

The bow pieces give us traction for entry and exit from the front. We use a lake with a sand beach and are always in and out on the front.

The rear pieces help cover the NSS (since nautique didn't make any). In theory, it should help keep from getting nicked up on the sharp edges of the NSS.

If anyone is interested in doing the same, I have the original drawings from Sea-Dek. I'm sure they also still have the files under my name.

The whole thing, including set up, was 130. I'm sure it would be around 50 or 60 if they produced them on another run. The pieces overall are pretty small.

Pretty neat. Looking at the 2nd picture, seeing your snaps, wondering why you don't have seadek on floor of boat???? Obviously you like the stuff....

Lazy... Haha! The boat came with the carpet. I still like the carpet and it actually makes the boat quieter when running. Also, we usually get a lot of sand on the floor and the boat doesn't make it home for cleaning during the summer. I can remove the carpet and wash it at home. So anyway, I will probably do Sea-Dek on the floor eventually, just haven't yet.

Very nice, I'd like the set also. Especially the bow

Yes please! I couldn't convince my wife on the NSS but the bow is a must have. We step in and out at the dock a lot and besides being slippery I have had to polish out some slight scratches a few times already. Can you send me the information?

Let me find out from Sea-Dek tomorrow how they like to do this. I'm not a dealer with them, just a customer. I will reply back again once I talk with someone there.

That's awesome, been waiting on the same thing for my 230. Wonder if the layout is the same...

So I got a reply from Sea-Dek. If you were to order just the bow pieces from them, the cost is rather high at 159.95 per kit (3 pieces). I told them that this is for PlanetNautique members and they are willing to give us a deal. If I order 5 at a time, meaning they can just use a whole sheet and cut them, they will make the cost 60.00 + shipping for each kit. They can be made in either the Grey or Brown Teak.

The only thing I need to get clarification on is whether I am the one that needs to order and then re-sell, or is we can submit them 5 individual orders at a time and they will ship them to you directly.

I don't mind fronting the money and then having you all pay me for them. I just don't want to become stuck in the "dealer" role, since I'm not a dealer.

I will reply once more when I get the ordering clarification from them.

I like the bow pieces too but I have a 230. Like Tax Free, I'm wondering if the fitment/layout is the same...

You can put me down for a set of faux teak for the bow.
