    2013 SAN 230 to 2014 SAN 230 Ballast Conversion

First just wanted to say hi. I am new to the forum and this is my first post.

My 2103 SAN 230 is used strictly for surfing. I'd hoped to get away from using sacs, and my inexperience (and dealer's inexperience) led me to believe that the factory ballast was sufficient even when minimally loaded. So moving away from sacs and going hard plumbed, I was curious to see if anyone had looked into converting their SAN 230 to the 2014 internal ballast configuration? I haven't poked around a 2014, but from picture it looks like some storage was retained. I know there are numerous threads on ballast upgrades, but I did not find anything on a 2014 SAN 230 conversion.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello fellow Canadian!

The 2014 is an all new hull and different setup all together. I don't know the specifics but would think it would be complicated.

Sacs or a big hard tank comes down to the same thing no? It would be a heck of a job to add hard tanks in the hull under your current hard tanks!

The 2014 model uses side tanks and soft tanks on the floor.
