    99 AN waksurfing port wake

I have a 99 direct drive Air Nautique that has good starboard wake with this set up: starboard ballast full, 120# pop bags in the corner of the storage above the gas tank, 600# sack behind engine box touching the starboard side, 300# sack beside the starboard side of the engine box and 260# pop bags in the floor locker.

When I do the reverse the port side wake is no where near clean. Assume its related to the prop.

    Any suggestions?

Tried this on my 2000 dd and gave up, even starboard. Consider yourself fortunate to get one side acceptable.

Yes the issue is prop rotation. It's working with you on the starboard side but you are fighting it on the port side. With my boat (same hull but v-drive) I find that I need another 400 lbs or so on the port side and even then it doesn't get as clean as the starboard side but has plenty of push.
