    Use in brackish or sell?

It looks like I may be relocating to Jacksonville in the near furture.

Are there any freshwater lakes near? I'm not to thrilled on the idea of using my 97 Super Sport in salt or brackish water. I'm also not sure how much free time I'll have until I'm done with training and another person is hired and also trainned.

I know there is a poster on here wanting to trade galvinized trailer for a painted so I haven't ruled out keeping it by any means.

Can anyone offer anything about the area or if they've been in a similar situation?

Depends on where in Jax. There is good freshwater south and west of town.

Enjoy your boat there. It's gonna take you forever to come back if you sell. Talking from my own experience.

My namesake, Black Creek, is one of the best places around (but still considered brackish...though not very salty). There is also Kingsley Lake, but you will need special access to Kingsley.

I grew up on Black Creek... lived at Lake Asbury. Almost drown at the main boat ramp at Kingsley when I was 3!
