Would also love to see it. Have a 2012 SN 200OB with a tower and our 3-events are slalom, boarding and surfing. I do run 1,100 lbs. of ballast after skiing though. Everyone has something to enjoy!
Just an example, Nate and CP continue to accomplish incredible feats of human athleticism (behind the 200), and there's hardly a peep about it over here. I suppose we can only blame ourselves for not threading, but maybe it's an "if you build it, they will come" scenario. Perhaps instead of "general Nautique discussion", forums are broken down to "wakeboard", "3 event", "surf" and "general tow" or something? Personally, I'd be back everyday to check the 3 event forum. Just my $.2

Actually a great idea!
Surf, board and 3- eventers.
Come to think of it I can't remember where I was reading all the highlights and records being broken. Here or the Nautique emails?
CCF is more about restoring old school CC's and that's cool as heck but it's not me. As a former 3 eventer I do think it'd be a great place for it.
Jeff, you run a very nice site with good sponsors, your spam control is great and yet the boards are open for anyone to post with very little to almost no problems or arguments. This is a nice place and seems like it could be very welcoming to even more Nautique enthusiasts.

I do both and have a TSC1 for skiing and a SV211 for boarding. In reality there is not as much to talk about when it comes to ski boats. Frankly not as much goes wrong with a ski boat as does with a wakeboard boat. The best ski boats are the most simple boats, no ballast, no stereo, no lights, etc. The ski boats tend to be developed more closely to the optimum machine as well. How many people are debating how to tweak a wake on a SN200?
I am also not a big "sports fan," I would much rather get out there and do it myself versus talk about 2 or 3 individuals that are at the top of the competition world. Nothing against them, I just don't find it as interesting as the trials of an intermediate skier/boarder trying to improve his sport or his equipment.
I think we could find plenty to talk about in a 3 event section. Some of it could/should actually be allocated to technical forum, such as prop and engine questions, to ZO settings, etc., but for me, it would be great to pop into the 3 event forum to talk about such things - versus sifting through the technical forum to find it. Potentially the same when looking for a used ski boat? Just thinking out loud, but it would be great for me, to see all relevant SN / 3 event talk in one general area. It could also be a great spot for the CC promo guys to promote their tournaments and events? Just this thread has provided a reason to come back to PN everyday
I am in Vegas this week, so let me do some thinking about the best way to do this today and tomorrow, and maybe we can get something in place in the next week or two.
