depth and water temp pick up on a g?

Anybody know where the depth gauge pick up and the water temp pick up is on a G23. Have a new 2014 and both don't work since delivery. Trying to trouble shoot it before driving 300km's to my dealer.

    Thanks

Well I found the pick up, right beside the plug. There is a connector that is plugged in there but then I assume it goes up to the linc screen. Anyone know how to access the back of the link screen or is there a module it runs to?

That information is transmitted by the bi-ducer on the can network to LINC. You should be able to find the through hull fitting for the bi ducer in the bilge it will be a large round black part with a gray sheathed harness coming out of it (will also have some writing on top). Follow th geay sheathing to the 4 pin connector and verify it is plugged/fully seated. It sounds like it just wasn't plugged in. The connector won't be far from the bi ducer itself.

Thanks Adam, I did find the bi-ducer and the 4 pin connector and it is plugged in. How can I access where it plugs into the LINC screen?

Pull bottom trim piece under the dash. Panel held in place with standard auto trim "christmas tree" plastic plugs.

The information from the Bi-ducer is transmitted in a "packet" on the CAN network. There is not a separate set of wires for the data the Bi-ducer broadcasts. You would experience other issues besides not having your depth and air temp because most of the information displayed on the the LINC display also is broadcasted on the same CAN wires. I don't know your problem solving skills, but if you have a test light or multi meter you might check that you have power at the bi ducer (make sure the LINC display is powered on).

Yes I can do that. I have a multi meter and will check that 4 pin plug.

              Thanks again.

Thanks for the help Adam, I checked and had power at the biducer. Talked to the boys at wizard lake and they ordered the parts and now it's replaced and working fine.
