Quality Control on NEW boats from CC

One of the two I purchased was not as clean on delivery as I like. And I had a few misc screws in hull but the bigger issues were:

Crank pulley bolt backed out on my G23.

Alternator failed on 2010 230, twice. Had a couple of vinyl issues but:

I think swankster has the right idea. I have had my G23 for exactly one year today, and have approximately 350 hours on it. There have been a few minor issues here and there, nothing too serious, however the true value of CC is the warranty that they provide. In such a complex boat, there are going to be issues. And having been to the factory, and how much demand, and how quickly the company is trying to keep up, I don't have a significant problem with some of the points that have previously been brought up. What ever the problem has been with my G, Nautique has bent over backward to take care of it. Quality control is only as good as addressing the small issues that make it through. A few bolts that I find in my bilge after the boat settles a bit is a small price to pay for working with a company that has one of the best customer support staffs I have ever dealt with.
