Surfed andTest drove a new 210 and G21 yesterday (My Thoughts)

Here is a picture of the new G21, We have put about 24 hours on it. The boat has the supercharged 550 hp (rocket ship). I would say the 409 with the 2:1 would be totally adequate for most people. We are really enjoying the boat, great storage, big boat ride nimble feel with the 550 engine. love the interior lights at night for cruising. Wakeboard wake is insane at all factory settings. Surf wave is very good right out of the box (no additional ballast) with just two teens and driver. I really am enjoying the new sea deck floor, I never thought I would say that. The interior size for a 21.5 foot boat is exceptional. We had 7 people in it for the first three days and where amazed at how roomy the boat felt.

Couple things that I am still trying to figure out. When cruising at say 30-35 miles per hour the boat seems to want to drive the nose down. It feels like a trim tab is engaged, I have checked and adjusted the NCRS and still not been to achieve a more bow up attitude when cruising at the higher speeds. Any thoughts?

When cruising, be sure you have the Back to Dock user setting selected and active. That's a good way to be sure NCRS is active, and will help the attitude/handling of the boat quite a bit. Also, I suggest leaving the NCRS setting set to 5 and High.

Beautiful boat new210 (maybe should be newG21? ). My buddy's in Penticton and thinking of getting a new Nautique for next season.

Thanks for the input so far, I feel like the salesperson must have had something wrong with the set-up on the G21. The big thing I like about the G21 is the interior room and storage. If I find that the G21 is not capable of producing a better wake, then I think I am still on the hunt for a different manufacturers boat. I don't see anything else in the Nautique lineup that meets my storage requirements. As I said before, I really liked the 210, my next boat needs more storage for a full day on the water with 4 teens and take a bit more rough water. I am not sure If anyone has surfed the Mastercraft x10 with next gen surf Tabs, any opinion on how it stacks up against the 210?

How do you like the surf wave on the G21? I have a 2019 210 and it’s amazing. I’m now looking at a 2017 g23 or a new g21 (for storage/room). I don’t want to lose anything wave wise though (we only surf).
