Swim platform rattles 2012 SANTE 210

I have a 2012 SANTE 210 and while idling slowly or in neutral...the exhaust turbulence rattles the platform. I was just noticing on a friends 2014 230 that it has the same rattle caused by the bubbles and air from the exhaust. His 2013 did it too. Anyone else had this problem? Any good ways to buffer it?

    thanks,

I have a 2011 230 and can't say I have heard any of this rattle. There is a little play in the platform when I am on the rear of the boat and waves crash into it, but nothing more. I will be interested to hear if anyone else is dealing with this.

My 08 210 does it only at low speed. As soon as the speed is a little higher the exhaust will stream back away from the platform.

Mine me just slips in the brackets and a pin holds it in place on each side. I usually keep a couple hundreds lbs of lead/ weight in each rear locker so it so it does sit the platform a little lower than stock, even when I don't have the tanks full. Still does it with ballast or without.

My Sport 200 rattled like crazy. Drove me crazy. I took the platform off and put one piece of electricians tape on both the boat bracket and the platform bracket. Put it back together and not a sound!

My 12 210 does the same thing. It actually sounds like a slapping noise while surfing. Dealer says that's normal

Have not noticed it on a 2010 210 but now I probably will and be all psycho about it.
I do remove my platform every now and then and grease the 3 vertical mounts real good, try that?

Instead of using the factory pins find a bolt and nut that is a little bit thicker and use that. It will make it a tighter fit and not allow it to move so much.

Common problem with removable platforms. If you do not need to remove yours often, remove the pins, ream out the holes to 5/16" or next common bolt size larger, then bolt it in place. If there is still a slight rattle, remove the platform, place some pieces of the soft side of Velcro on the top interlocking hooks, reinstall and bolt in place.
Unfortunately, the platforms have to be made loose enough to easily remove, but when the boat is weighted the platform acts like an upside down bucket in the water and catches all the exhaust bubbles.

Mine does it too. I just live with it. I like the brackets vs the old ones, I'll live with it.
