    Blown Exhaust Gasket

    Happy 4th to all... After skiing this morning on the way back to the dock the starboard side exhaust gasket blew. Will running the boat with a blown exhaust gasket cause any damage? The motor is a 2008 343 Excalibur.

    Yes, it will be ok to run. Probably will drive you crazy with the ticking from the exhaust leaking out. You will want to get it replaced soon to prevent warping the manifold.

      Pretty easy to replace, it just is a bit noisy as stated above.

        Yeah put your order in to white lake and do it yourself. You'll want the riser gasket too. I did both sides of mine. Check the torque after an hr run time then again at 20
