Those are awesome! I had the same idea but I was only going to do one in center. I think I might try 3 now. Thanks for sharing

It was the upholstery shop across the street from Marine Max Buford, Georgia... I took the boat in to get the 25 hour service done and he squeezed me in while the boat was there which was super nice... I can give you contact info if you want it but honestly any upholstery shop can do this... it was $475... had to overnight material since it takes me an hour to get boat over to the local dealer... so I didn't want to have to go back... I elected to go with 24 inch pockets to try and minimize weight and wind drag since there is not front supports on the bimini... feels solid at 25 mph... prob wouldn't max out speed with three boards on the top but it there was only two on the sides and not the middle then I think it would be just fine...

Were the straps sewed in too or are they ran independently around the tower?

This option makes for a nice alternative to buying the Z5 rack.

Here are some pics of the surf pockets my wife made for my 210. We live very close to MM and that upholstery shop. Maybe we can meet on Lanier sometime so we can check them out ?

What are the specs on that soulcraft fangtail? I currently have a IS squirt and I'm really thinking about adding one to the boat

                        Caution

Don't want to be a "Debbi Downer" here but just wanted to warn everyone who has a lake with law enforcement on it. The surf sleeves you add will more than likely create a legal issue for you as it blocks the required 360 degree view of your All Around light. This is the clear/white light at the very top of your tower. It must be the mounted as the highest point of your tower with a clear 360 projection ability with a 7.5 degree angle below the light. This could be from the fins or the boards so use caution when adding these sleeves. The same is true for adding a second set of board rack to your tower. If the boards in the surf sleeve or second board racks block your all around light viewing requirements you could be sited. Please not technically the boards do not have to even be in the sleeves/rack because the "intended use" would block the light. I know this is a technicality but I do not want any of you wonderful people sited for something you may not have been aware of. Enjoy your summer!!!!!

Yes Tracy I suppose you are technically correct. If you go out at night you may have to extend the tower light.
This idea came from Tige I wonder if they are in violation? So how are those cracking tower legs going ? Do you think you have them all fixed ? I would be more concerned about a tower collapsing then a ticket for a light?

So what keeps the board from flapping up and down when you go over wakes?

Would it not be a brilliant idea if tower manufacturers would put a 4 inch taller light or provision for and extension on the tower to start with? Kind of like drilling a weep hole or drain....
