2014 speakers lack of!!!! Big disappointment from the factory!!

Just got my 2014 210 and thought that I was ordering a level II stereo set up. Nautiques failed to mention that there is only two cockpit speakers and a sub and two bow speakers. why would any company take away the second set of cockpit speakers they have had for the past years upon years! What a disappointment!! Oh but they changed it back for 2015. It may not seem like a big deal to many but if you were buying a Lexus and it only came with two speakers wouldn't you be a little pissed!!! What a waste of money!!! I even asked if there were any changes you think that would have been mentioned.

yeah I only have four. two cockpit and two bow and if I ordered it without the levelII system I would have only got two in the whole boat?? Seems strange?

Standard stereo: bluetooth, usb, and 4 speakers. (2 cockpit speakers and 2 bow speakers on 210)
Stereo level 2: includes polk amp and subwoofer (and bow speakers on 230)\

You would only be short a sub and amp without the Stereo Level 2.

I hear you, what's that about especially when it says 6 on the build sheet! I guess they aren't going to brag about reducing the number of speakers but fix the build sheets at least. Level II stereo gets you a pretty low budget amp and sub for $1800MSRP!!

Not trying to be a d!ck, but if I was "buying a lexus" and paid extra money for a nicer stereo, I would probably take the time to understand exactly what that stereo is. I understand being disappointed, but blaming Nautique for not doing your homework for you doesn't seem right. Am I missing something? Did they promise more speakers?

Any1- if you still have your original order sheet.... And the definitions truly changed from what you signed on ..... Contact Mr. Nance at Nautique customer service and chat it over with him. I experienced a similar situation, different circumstances.... And they made things right.... And I'm not talking only $200 in speakers.

that's crazy. i probably would've asked what the $1800 included, then passed. $1800 will buy a nice aftermarket setup.

Yes I might have over reacted a bit but I guess I expected the same set up as they have had for the last several years. All is well the second set is on the way along with the kick panels that the 15's will have. Just figured they would not have changed something like that without more notice. All is well and I am still in the best manufactured company boat in the industry!!

I agree you are correct I over reacted but at the same time it was just a bit of a let down and did not really want to deal with after market upgrades.

For 2014 they only put two cockpit speakers in and if you ordered the level 2 stereo you get the two bow and sub. for a total of four componets and one sub. Trying to get the panels sent out so I can make it like a 15 or at least do my best.

So the Base stereo package only had two speakers and a Head-Unit? That's a head scratcher! Didn't know they were trying to compete with Glastron circa 1997 on the stereo front. Glad to hear they fixed it for 2015.
