    Ramlin trailers?

Finally found a ramlin tandem trailer for my 99 san. Only problem, it's for a DDVand I have a v drive. Ramlin said they think I could move the bow stop forward 6" to counter act the weight of the motor being in the rear instead of the middle. I have a dorsey sport trailer right now and my bow is light. Has anyone ran into this before?

it looks just like a tandem trailer for a V-drive, are you sure a DD came on it? you might contact ramlin with the serial number to have them give you the scoop ... and can the bow stop move forward 6 inches? it doesn't look like it in the picture

Yeah duh. I didn't look at all of the pictures before I posted. I noticed a few guys recommended to weld a v to cup the bottom of the hull in the front. What do u guys think

That sure looks like a Vdrive trailer. A pic from the side would be helpful, but I am almost sure thats a v-drive... If you are talking about another crossmember V, I am not sure why you would want that. With an added crossmember up front (even in a V) you may risk striking it with the hull if loading on steeper/shorter ramps.... Just my .02

Based on how flat the bunks are, I am guessing it is actually for a DD boat. The obviously still have to have the drop in the back for the drive shaft and prop. Most VDrive trailers I have seen also have bunks in the center to align the hull. Just my .02

As obd666 mentioned a quick call with the trailer S/N may provide alot of good information.

I had an 01 SAN on a Ramlin and an 05 as well, and there were no center bunks.. It is to hard to tell, but like above - Just call Ramlin with the serial number...

407-851-1144 is the last number I had for them.

Pretty sure that is a DD Ski/Sport Trailer.

Look at the pics in the link below and compare to the pics above. In the pics above there is significantly more carpet behind the rear wheel which would signify that it is for a DD in my opinion.

Yeah you're right, this trailer is for a DD. Used trailers are hard to find. At this point if I can find a 210 vdrive trailer

Too bad. I know there was a single axle ramlin for sale on here a few weeks ago for $2k but is sold now. Used 210 trailers are out there. Be patient
