yeah 1200 sounds crazy. I could see maybe $350 for a first service on a G23, but $1200?

Well if they can charge 700.00 for an oil change ,trans fluid change and impeller on a direct drive I guess they can charge 1200 for a G. I am so glad I can do the work myself .

All of our boats have a oil dran hose. Just run the boat to warm it up then stick that hose out hour transom and take the plug off. When it stops dripping stick a towel under your oil filter and replace it. Put in ur oil and its done. Impellars are easy too. Please please just do it yourself, your gonna have to do it every year anyways

FWIW.. the price I was quoted was north of $1200. Yes.. with two zeros at the end. 50hr service on a G23.

I've been calling them to try to get this set up since I had about 35hrs on it (about 70 now).. but they weren't terribly responsive.

I LOVE my G23.. but I do miss my old dealership.
I'm hoping this was in pesos... That is unreal. More so if they're not responsive.

Wow, I'm still reeling from that quote, and it's not my boat/pocketbook...

At that price, well worth getting a little dirty and doing it yourself. An even buying a drain pump to do it at the dock.
