Surfing stock weighted 2012 SANTE 210?

I never wake surfed(always been a wakeboarder) until last weekend when my buddy took me out on his 2014 230.

Nearing 50 years old and being an avid surfer in my youthful Cali days, I was hooked.

When I get to the lake in a couple of weeks, I definitely want to surf. Is it possible to produce a rideable wave on my 2012 SANTE 210 (no NSS) with only stock ballast? I don't need the perfect wave (yet) as I am just getting the feel of it.

I'm about 160 lbs and we will reliably have 6 persons in the boat when we go out.

    thanx.

Use the 6 people to off weight the boat, run in at least 10-12' of water, play with your speed between 10-10.5mph and hydrogate at 2 or 3 and you'll find a good wave. Depth of water really makes a difference but use 10-12 as a minimum (20' range is the best).

I know you said no extra ballast but a fat sac and tsunami are cheap and well worth it. My speed on my 2012 210 with one far sac was 9.2 hydro gate all the way back. It was short but I could surf across the lake
