    Launch Control System problems??

I just took my 99 air out for the first time and i could not for the life of me figure out the ballast on it. I turned the knobs, and flipped the on switch and went to speed, still nothing. Am I doing it wrong? or is there a problem with the system??
    thanks for your input

You probably do not have the seacock open. This is a mechanical
valve, through the bottom of your boat. There is a handle to open
and close. When closed, your vent valves and pump won't do
anything. Not positive where the seacock is on the air, but I
believe it is in the motorwell. Should be a long rod with a flat
handle, either blue or red rubber over the handle.

I just experienced the same problems, check to make sure your rear seacock valve is all of the way open, I have to twist mine back and forth a few times to coax it open all of the way. I lauched the boat with the seacock open and must have got a air lock in the lines because the forward knobs wouldn't allow the water in. So this time I launched with it closed and the contrl valves closed then opened the seacock once in the water and then the valve knobs. I used the pump to get it started and then let them fill manually to save the wear on the pump. You should always be able to fill manually unless there is blockage in the line though... see this post http://www.planetnautique.com/index....417&highlight=
