ID:	381864so i have a hole/leak in the corroded elbow joint.. of the exhaust baffle(?).

1983 2001 SN, 351 Windsor- port side baffle

    Questions:
    1. the metal elbow joint pictured (corroded/ hole) what is the part # name?
    2. if one is bad, does it make sense that the others might be fubar?

2.a) If so, is this common and would seem smart to replace all of them?

    3. where to buy the parts? the only physical dealer in Iowa is a few hours away..

    Thanks in advance,
    Patrick

Discount Inboard Marine is your friend for older inboards. I would refer to them for replacement options. Here is one option: http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=288-3001

Should be straight exhaust, not the muffler like listed on SKIDIM. Although they would be a good place to call for advice.

From your picture - it looks like a 45deg stainless elbow is all you need.

You might consider going to fiberglass. http://www.centekindustries.com/fittings.html

That connection does not belong there, someone added it when they (improperly) used non-corrugated exhaust hose that does not bend without kinking. I'd replace that entire section of hose on both sides.

TRBenj is the winner!! I found a 6' reinforced 3" tube, cut it, pulled out the joints and bang.. running better, no leaks, straight line out instead of elbow//

              !!
