throttle sticking, hard to pull into rev 14 210

14 210, the odd time im finding that its tough to pull the throttle into rev when i back off the lift after sitting. it always seems to loosen up during a session though. any suggestions? thanks

I found the shifter to be quite stiff when my boat was brand new. I've since put 70 hours on my boat and it's much looser now. It'll get less stiff over time.

I have 45 hrs on mine and it's still a pain. Wife accidentally left it in reverse the other day for about 5 seconds. Not very good.

Aren't all the new boats electronic controlled "drive by wire"? With no direct connection to mechanical devices, it should just be a friction adjustment on the lever. I haven't driven a new nautique, but two other brands were very loose and really easy to operate, almost too loose for my taste.

I had to tell a guest driver they were still in reverse the other day. There are other threads about the new throttles, at first it's awkward but most really like it after some seat time.

I actually liked mine out of the box but maybe my 11 was so loose it drove me nuts
