    First time wakeboarding

Youngest son is eleven. Finally convinced him to try wake boarding. Third try he was up. Next turn I told him he could not just idle behind the boat.

He is progressing rapidly. Fun family time!

Nice! Love watching the kids progress through the years. Cruising back through the photos from a decade ago, it is amazing how fast time flies by! Enjoy!

It does fly. My oldest is fifteen and gaining size on me. I can still do everything better, at least this week...

Here is another of the youngest not quite finishing it.

Yep, 9 yr old is improving weekly, and the 19 yr old owns the wakeboard and surfboard. Still trying to catch me on the slalom though won't be long when he blows by me on that too! Will be very proud when he does, just hope he's still willing to pull me when I'm old and down to a pair!

Oldest tried to get up on slalom, almost had it. I am not sure how to coach him on controlling the ski. Is it better to stay with two and drop one?

You 11-year old has better body position then any noob I have ever seen. He even rode toe-side when crossing back into the wake. Someone has been coaching him well.

              Awesome!

We just got our 9yr old daughter her first wakeboard. Last year she started trying to learn to ski using some trainers. She would pop right up out of the water and then get scared and let go.

First time this last Sunday she tried wakeboarding and by the 4th time getting up and then letting go of the rope she hung on and then rode for several minutes at a time.

She's super stoked to go again.

Now she has the Ronix August 2013 jacket and board/boots to match.

Then it is somwone I don't know. I am as big an ameteur as he is. But thanks for thinking so. I gave him the basics, and he went from there.

Cool! Some friends told me to put the kids on the adult board. They had taught multiple kids and learned they pop right up on the "huge" by scale board. He is on my used and abused craigslist board. Probably get better gear next year.

Hard to say, taught my oldest on a slick wood pair and dropping one. Taught his buddy last year on a single with a deep water start rope. Still working on the 9yr old on a pair. Amazing how much quicker it is to learn to get out of the water on a wakeboard. In the old days, a split handle rope was the deep water teaching rope, the new one piece ones work better.

He is actually getting pay the point where a split type would help. Forty five degrees or so. Then the ski veers right or he falls left
