Hello, I'm new to the board, Presentation of my 2010 230 SANTE

    Hello

I'm writing from Switzerland, Just buy this very nice 230 and have a few questions

Before this 230 SANTE, we had a 08 210 SAN, and the surf wake was very good, we use to have the 343 engine with 1235 prop.

Now with the 230 full loaded + extra ballast + 250lbs + 4 persons, I don t have the same sensation, it feels that the wake is soft... looks good but I have the sensation that's something is missing therefore I can't find the way to get the same/better wake that I use to have with the 210

    What do you think?

Also, in October dealer will ad the NSS to the boat, do you think the wake will be much better?

    many thanks

    Peter

How exactly do you have your boat weighted? What speed and rope length are you using?
Also, NSS is only available on 2012 or newer models with the LINC 2.0

      I also have a 2010 230.
I just added (2) 1100lbs sacs in the rear and a "v" bag in the bow 650lbs. It made a huge difference when surfing. There wasn't enough push for me to throw the rope in but no it's no issue at all.

I'd be interested to know what your dealer is going to do with the NSS, as wakerider107 stated above you would need Linc 2.0 which your boat doesn't have (picture of your dash shows your on the older linc 1.0, same as mine and what factory installed for the 2010 model year).

Welcome to the board. I have a 2011 230 and have the boat weighted with an 1100 surf sac in the rear and a 650 bow sac. Recently integrated a 400 sac under the port ski locker. Wave has plenty of push. This past weekend I filled up a 750 sac on top of the port seats with all other sacs filled. Wave was freakishly huge. Had a nice 18" curl about 30' out. Had people riding out in the curl with no problems. Unfortunately, the boat looked like it was gonna sink and had one boat come over and ask if we were OK. In respects of NSS, your link system will not accept the addition. Only available on 2012 boats with the 2.0 system.

Thanks a lot for your inputs

Speed is 10.5, loaded with belly and Port, Plus extra ballast + 2 Bricks, + 4 persons

Even with an additional 500lbs sac, the wake is not hard, still soft, it look very good but when surfing I don't have the hard wake that I use to have with my ex 210

I have to check my propeller

Concerning the NSS, the dealer install an external command in order to use the NSS without the 2.0 system, Correct craft are doing it wrong by not giving an update program in order to install the NSS. my 0.2

eff1fitty: you have a ski locker? I thought ski lockers were taken out in 2008-2009.

Correctcraftaddict: I agree that CC should be working on an NSS system for non LINC2.0 boats. But that wouldn't sell any more new boats.

I had a 09 230, and the surf wave was awesome! I am 6,1", 240# and could ride without the rope all day on a ronix board... I loved that boat. Sadly I had to downsize.... Stock ballast with some additional lead on surf side. Belly always almost full with maybe a couple hundred pounds up front. 1 fatsack on surfside rear floor.

I call the compartment under the bench on the port side a ski locker.
