Adding a rear ballast bag to a 2014 Sport Nautique

I'm a new V-Sport owner. As you know, the factory-installed rear ballast tanks make up the structural floor of the large storage compartments to the left and right of the engine. I'd like to add a portable ballast bag to the rear port side to improve the wake for surfing. I'd like to go with a 750 lb self-pumping water bag that I've seen online. My concern is that 750lbs of water might crack/crush the factory-installed ballast tank that this portable ballast would be resting upon. Does anyone have any experience, guidance, or feedback on this?

I've put 750s on top of the hard tanks in my 230 with no problems.
I'm not sure that a 750 would fit in your compartment though. 400 may be a better fit.

Probably not going to fit a 750 in there on top of the factory. 400 fit perfectly....... or take out the hard tanks and put 750's in there permanently. Best setup i have found for the 200v is a 400lb bag in the rear locker on the surf side and another on the bow seats with factory full.

Agreed, we use 400 on top of the hard tanks. Fill whatever side we're surfing, belly hard tank and I have a 700 up in the bow that we fill to about 70%.

Thanks for the feedback. I just bought two 400lb bags from Wakemakers. Gives me more flexibility to also use with my daughters when they wakeboard. I've been surfing at approx. 8.5 mph without this ballast (just using the passengers that I happen to have on board at the time). Any suggestions on best surf speed range with surf-side ballast + 400lbs and belly tank + 400 lbs on bow?
