I have a G21 and pulled the cover out for the first time as we are heading to Powell. I think the cover is meant to tow with. Anyone tried and is it worth it? I have always towed without one and just covered as we parked. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't tow with cover on. Can I tow that with the tower down? I'd do that of possible also.

I tow mine with the cover on to Lake Powell from Salt Lake. We put all our houseboat bedding plus a stand up paddle board inside and don't want it blowing out. I have a tower up factory cover.Comment

I don't know why it's frowned upon to tow with the cover on. I towed tower down, cover on from Florida to South Carolina and back with no problems. We put painter's tape where the cover is tight on the gel on the way up in case it rubbed. On the way down we didn't bother and it was completely fine.2015 G23 Coastal Edition 450 NSS

If i'm towing a long distance its tower down cover on, if im going to lake thats 10kms away its tower up no cover on.
My cover works with the tower down or up.Comment
