I've dealt with 2 in particular on my personal boats ('03, '04 SANTE), but I wasn't surprised with how much weight was in the boat and the amount of hours on the boats. I rarely ever hear of PCM trannies failing, definately not nearly as many as the pre-'02 MC's and the Walters Fineline puts in their boats. No clue what the GT-40 was mated to on my '02, but I'm assuming it wasn't the same tranny as the Excaliburs have. That boat had more wake-camp hours on it than either the '03 or '04, certainly not a pampered boat.

I have a 2005 SV211T with 30 hours. Love the boat. A few changes:
Put a real cooler in it. There should be a latch on the cooler. The way it is now you have to either take off the back seat and remove or remove the entire seat. It should have a real insulated cooler with a latch on it. My buddies MB Sport has a killer cooler in the floor.
Make sure the stereo is hooked up correct. I received the boat and had no speaker sound through the tower speakers. I had to hire a stereo guy who said that the cables were not correct and that it was missing cables. He also said that the reason the sub woofer came undone was it is the wrong way to install the large sub woofer.
Other than that....great boat.
