I'm stealing this off another thread but decided I would ask it here because there's probably a fair amount of interest.
I'm pretty sure I know the basics of winterizing a 343 as it can't be much different than the GT-40. Basically, you need to drain 2 fittings off the block, 2 fittings on the manifolds, drain the tranny cooler, the raw water pump, and then any heater or shower. Of course there's a ton more to do... but this is the basic requirement if a deep freeze pops up in the late fall.
Since the 409 is closed cooling for parts of the system, what's the minimum winterization needed for freezing temps?
