Looking for opinions on Colors and Options for New 210

Well it looks like I'm going over to the dark side and trading in the Ski Nautique 200 for a 2015 Super Air Nautique 210. The rest of the family is into Wake sports and I even admit enjoying a surf session after it is to rough or I'm to tired to ski the course. Plenty of guys left in the ski club to get my 18 sec fix through the course a few times a week.

We are having a healthy family debate on these two different color options.



The second option that I am debating is the GPS Helm Pkg- Upgrade the LINC Display w/ Zero-Off Speed Control & Navionics Maps. Coming from a Ski Nautique I'm tending to lean towards the Zero Off speed control because that is what I' used to. However, I don't have a lot of experience pulling boarders and I certainly don't need the mapping since I keep the boat on a 300 acre lake. I know in the Ski Nautique world ZO is a must for resale but not sure on the 210.

I think we are all set with the other colors and options. Just trying to make up my mind on the GPS and the color. Any thoughts are appreciated.

you are going to love the 210. many consider it the best surf hull on the market. as far as the speed control, you are good either way. ive used both, but you wont need the gps if you just want "just" speed control. both colors look good, im kinda partial to black myself.

Here's some real-world perspective on a similar color scheme 2015 210 that we have at the Raleigh Boat Show this weekend. This boat is BEAUTIFUL! I love this color choice, and the red you're considering would look just as good. I vote for this configuration (black with colored stripe)!

I vote black with red stripe. Get no metal flake, you don't want it to look like a bass boat. It will look super clean.

The black with green does look sweet.

Personally black is a pain in the a55 to keep clean. I would go red with black or white stripes that red looks great and it pops

Same thought for the same reason. I love the contrast of the red flake with black but its super hard to keep the black looking good. Minimize that and maximize the sparkle. The flake is hard to maintain if it gets dinged but I love the look even if some occasionally make bass boat references, maybe they are just "Gelalous" .

I've also gone from center drive to 210 with a Sport V in the middle. Locking in at 10.5 to surf and the kids slow boarding speeds make the ZO a no-brainer. I don't need the nav either but it's a package. The heater is useless unless you have the divider in and windshield closed, 343 surprisingly enough power vs the cost of the 409 and the factory installed NSS looks way better than the after thought one. Love our 210! Slalom wake is small too!

A friend of mine has the black and red looks great. You are going to want Zero Off wish they offered it without the maps but probably costs them the same to add.

Thanks for the pics. Is that boat the Victory Red or the Red Metal Flake?

I think I'm leaning towards the Black with the red accent, but I don't have the rest of the family convinced.

We got a new 210 this year and love it. Although we went for a cleaner look of all silver cloud and a metal flake accent stripe. The ZO option is great and for the one river trip we take a year the gps will be nice. I opted for the 6.0L, because I am a footer as well but probably didn't need it. Get the pro-ballast option with NSS, it will make a major difference for surfing. I also like the tower bimini for 2 reasons; 1) I'm 6'2" and can stand up in the boat, 2) We have a low bridge to go under getting to other lakes on the chain an it works great.
I'm still working on the optimal rope length for free skiing at 31-32mph, but part of the problem is I'm using a fat boy ski due to recently dislocating my shoulder and needing an easier start to reduce the strain.
