New to me 2008 SANTE 210 intro and couple ?'s

So finally upgraded my 2000 XStar which logged 1200hrs of bombproof fun. Needed just a bit more space and bit better surf wake on the goofy side. Also wanted a bit tamer/cleaner/more adjustable low speed wake at around 17-19mph. The 210 was a home fun for us.the attention to detail and wakes of the revamped hull from 07-13 were perfect. The reversible lounge, drivers helm, and performance were all deal sealers for my wife and myself alike. I test drove a the newer "budget" boats with my eye on a surf system, but at the end of the day quality and price of an older top tier boat was hard to beat. We still wakeboard 60-70 percent of the time, surf about 15 , and yes tube, my daughters love both boarding and tubing equally. **** I recently jumped on a double tube next to them and I was having a blast. Felt like a kid again. Ok well sorry for the ramble. Just a little background.

    Couple questions
    1) can someone explain how the bilge toggle switch operates? It seems no matter what my bilge kicks on for slight moment when the light on the keypad is on or when I am in bilge pump on mode on the toggle. I am used to having a toggle that was on or auto. Is my float possibly stuck? No water is coming out.

2)I have the 4 Titan Alpha II speakers. I had wetsonds rev 8's on my last boat. So little lacking but I am thinking if I juice those up a bit from the crap clarion factory amp uncoils get much better return. They are clipping like crazy and the amp is so hot. Even tuning the gains which I am familiar with won't stop it from clipping. I only see one set of wires per two speakers coming into the boat. Assuming they are paralleled up top. Anybody know their power rating or what brand they are where I can find the specs to pair a nice two channel amp to?

3)Looking for a replacement for the stock CMDC 5 with USB or Bluetooth capabilities and a wired remote. When I upgraded my old boat I just had to get a 6-80in converter with my new clarion m502 to keep my old remotes working.

4)Zero Off for surfing is awful . It will not let the boat plane in a timely fashion. I am very familiar with all the adjustments on perfect pass(kdw, Nn,cs) to adjust your pulls but I can't seen to find any adjustments for the zero off regarding that to help with the "pull " factors. This is somewhat important to me as all of the regular riders vary in talent, speed and weight configurations a great deal. We are having some issues especially at the lower 18mph mark with boat empty of it disengaging, and up at the 22mph fluctuating and kind of searching +- .8mph tried to go to zero off's site but the manual was pretty diligent in ski features and nil in the wakeboard features. Any help would be appreciated

5)Going to remove the hard tanks. Saw a couple threads on how. Should I go Sumo 900 or jump all the way to 1100? Am going to piggy back the arrow sac off the center tank

Again sorry for the long post, but going from a dialed boat with 1200hrs and a ton of personalizations/customizations to a completely new mfg and setup has craft hung my head on those things

I'm useless on your questions but, welcome. I have to say that based on some of your past WW posts, I kinda wondered if you'd eventually end up over here. Nice boat. Enjoy all that extra space.

I have the same boat. The bilge toggle switch is on a timer. If you have it set to "On" and the dash button pushed where the light is on constant it simply comes on every so many minutes and then shuts off if it does not sense water. Note: My dash bilge button is always on by default when you power up the touch pad/ system. If you have the toggle switch in the "bilge only" mode the dash button will not illuminate however the bilge pumps will do the same thing. Turn on and if it does not sense water turn off. There are two pumps in you boat one is in the stern next to the rudder and the other is between the fuel tank and belly tank.

As far as the Perfect Pass goes it sound like you may have an antenna issue. There are numerous threads on here so do a search. I still have the old style antenna (round puck style) and have not had any issues. I would however at least follow the wire from the antenna and check the plug on the gauge as they can corrode and or become lose.

I still have the hard tanks so I cannot help you on that. However, I do use the Ronix 800# 8.3 and pump and just move it where I want it. I still need more weight in front to increase the wave length when only one person is in the boat.

I ditched all the stock stereo stuff so I am not much help on that aspect.

Good looking boat! I love mine and keep thinking of updating but it does everything so well!

Welcome Swatguy I have the same boat and meet up with Paxdad here on Lanier quite often. As far as your stereo goes Wetsounds makes 6x9 horn speakers that fit in the OE cans . I was thinking of adding an amp and running 2 leaving the other 2 dead just for looks . I will be looking forward to see what you do.
PS are you the same Swatguy that has been giving them **** on the MC forum? Welcome again the 08 is a great year for a great boat.

Thanks guys yup same swat from the WW board and Mastercraft forums. Think I am going on 16yrs on wakeworld and roughly 10 on the MC forum. I have been in the wakeboat/wakeboard scene for a while. I am apparently getting old YIKES. I may stir the pot a little from time to time according to some, but I just call it like it is. My statements are based on facts and personal experience. Some people don't like knowing or hearing about the flaws in their own things. I don't sugarcoat it or have blind loyalty goggles. I think all companies put out great products ......just some products fit people better than others and it's not always about the biggest and most expensive ride. That's why there are choices in boat mfg's.

Thanks for the replies. My bilge def kicks on from time to time just thought that was weird, but good to hear that it's normal. I must have tinkered around with that for while.

As far as the Wetsounds 6X9 and dropping them in......i did call Wetsounds just for that immediately. Unfortunately their 6x9's are back ordered and they are only producing enough to barely keep up with the demand of Bu/Titan for their current productions so getting my hands on those may prove to be difficult anyways. I don't know that those will be that much more of an upgrade to throw some money at versus just scrapping them altogether and going with a nice newer set HLCD's. I kind of screwed myself here having (4) XS650's, a set of Rev 8's, nice Polk 12 inch sub, and (2) Syn 4's pushing it all with a 420sq off a nice clarion with Bluetooth and integrated iPod controls. So I think I am just going to eventually dump the 6x9's and guff the entire system except the momo's as I really like their "true" sound. The wide is going to kill me I start tearing all the gear out one by one. That was part I the deal. No accessorizing. However even with that weak amp I get some decent tunes back there with the 4 6X9's and to be honest I like the factory Titan look a bunch so I am torn. Maybe I'll up the amp with the thought of going to high powered 2channel that will handle some HLCD's just in case I can squeeze those by the Mrs. The head unit at the moment I think is my weakest link and what I need to start with.

I do vaguely remember coming across the antenna thread and dealership upgrade for the GPS searching/porpising so I will have to search a bit more. I don't really think it was related as it seems to be more of a "fine tune" issue than a malfunction issue, but I could be wrong.

I hear ya on the upgrade. It took me almost 2 full seasons to actually cough up my XStar because every time I went and test drove something it really didn't blow me away. That is until we got in this boat I also wanted the 08 to keep everything as close to analog as possible with 0 touch screens as I plan on logging 1k on this one as well.

I will say one more thing in closing I already like more than my previous .... Nautique parts.com blows away anything you could find online for MC. It makes finding things at your fingertips way easier rather than having to call around for part # to part #.

              Agree with you on Nautiqueparts!!!

One other nice thing you will notice is that there are numerous courtesy light connectors (blue/ black wires) located in the wiring harness throughout your boat. These can be used for adding additional LED lights etc. I have placed a few additional LED lights in the chase lockers for better night visibility when accessing bumpers/ ropes etc. but have not gone overboard.

And if you have not already figured it out you can dim your dash lights with the down arrow on the tachometer.

If you get a chance, shoot a PM over to user F725 on here regarding ballast. He has a 2013 210 (I am new to Nautique as well, so I am not sure if the '08 & '13 hulls are the same) and I was fortunate enough to spend some time on/behind it this past weekend and he really has it dialed in for surfing. I believe he would be happy to send a few pointers your way regarding his set up.

                  Good luck

Hey Swat, I have the same 08 210 w/ Titan tower that you have too.

As far as stereo, I'm a Wetsounds fan. Just deck it out with that.

I pulled out my hard tanks and plumbed in 750's in the back. The tanks are harder than you think to get out. I had to rotate mine and pull them out the front chase seat locations. Couldn't maneuver them around through the back. Even with 750's you will need a corresponding amount of weight up front. I have an arrow sack plumbed in as well as a couple of hundred pounds of weights in the nose. Be careful with the nose. It rides low and with additional weight up front, you can sink the nose if you aren't paying attention.

I upgraded the antenna/antenna harness/software for my Zero Off. Had a friend do the same thing in his 09 210. Works great now.

I run a 1235 prop on mine, but beware, you will get prop burn in the gel-coat from it.

I surf at 9.5-10 mph on the starboard side. ZO holds well and the wake is really nice. Let me know if you have any more questions...
