Hey George. I guess I'm confused. Doesn't the hook do exactly what the gate does? So, to gain the benefit of the gate, you would have to grind off the hook on the back of the hull. Correct? In other words, with the gate down, you are in slalom mode. With the gate up, the hull sits deaper giving you a better trick wake?

Hopefully if she likes the 211 but not the 210 she will hate the 220. I am hoping it is just a bigger 210... no need for a sea-ray look on a wakeboarding boat.

I would like the 210 because it's the classic Nautique look, but After seeing the pictures of the new 210 one of my favorite features (the windshield) has changed. I have also heard that the front of the boat is similar to the 211 but this boat is completly different from any other boat in their line up. Wont know untill I see the boat.

SGY You are correct as I understand the gate. The reason I would consider the retrofit would be to gain the better trick wake.
