    2003 Ski Nautique 206 wakes

We're looking at buying a 2003 Ski 206. The family is getting more in skiing than wakeboarding and I was wondering about the size of the wakes on the 206. I know they won't be as small as the 196, but will they be smaller than the wakes on our current 1998 Air Nautqiue? We'd like something with an open bow that you can slalom behind (long line) without having to fight a huge wake. Any thoughts?

We went from a 99' sport nautique to our current 206 and are very happy with it. With the backseat out, and nothing heavy in the trunk the 15' off wake from 30 mph up is really nice. It's a tad larger and firmer than a ski nautique's but I doubt you'd have anyone complaining. 34 mph and 28 off its the same as a ski nautique or 196.

My ski buddy has a 2005 response lxi, and his wake is a little nicer at 26-30 mph.

NCH2oSki: Thanks for the reply. We're going to test drive a 206 tomorrow.
