    G21 starboard list question

Hello all. I'm new here and just bought a new G21 with the 409 engine.

When we demoed we had driver and two people on port side so the boat rode level at wakeboard speeds. Now that we have it home we have gone out with just driver and observer and boat lists to starboard at wakeboard speed (intermediate or pro setting). Is the best thing to solve this just manually dump some water from starboard tank? I thought I had seen somewhere that some guys put lead on the port side to counteract torque. I'll be talking to Buxton about this but thought I'd see what you guys are doing as well. Just looking for suggestions of what others are doing to make balancing boat easy.

    Thanks for any suggestions

Much like airplanes and offshore boats there is always a need to balance a moving object that is not on a solid surface. From what I've been told the boat was designed to ride with a family, much like in your demo. If you don't have the people just add weight to the port side or take some away from the starboard side. This simulates trim tabs or tabbing out an airplane. Even in my new 210, I add 100-200lbs on the port side if I'm the only one in the boat. To produce the best wake on both sides the hull has to be symmetrical.

Another idea is use a custom setting in the LINC system as your "go to" when using the current configuration.

I put 4, 45# lead barbell weights each wrapped in plastic lined along the bottom of the port side trunk of my G23 and it seems to balance it perfectly. That way I don't have to estimate how to asymmetrically fill the ballast tanks. They take minimal space. I wrap them to keep from rust staining the boat.

Thanks guys. Rode today with driver only and a 370 pound sack under the port seat. Still had to dump a little weight from the starboard tank. I think I may order some POP bags so they can be moved easily. The wake on this boat is amazing!

If you can get lead wake bags, the guys name is Jared. Contact them through FB. It looks like their website is gone.

                https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lead-...75811559096010

They are better built, smaller (they use lead), and weigh more per bag (50 instead of 40).
