I bet resale will be a good 10-15% hit for no linc... Maybe more.

I myself taking NSS out of the picture would much rather buy a 5yr old non link boat.

Link is nice for sure, but I had a 230 and with out much effort was able to surf it well/ (I know - change on the fly and easier set up with linc) but it not a deal breaker in my opinion. I have seen several people who have the linc fail - and not have any gauges.... (probably a small number in the big picture) but the way my luck goes.......
If anything though, that should be a good bargaining tool for you. get that 10-15% off now, so if it possibly takes a hit down the road - it won't be such a hard pill to swallow. You are getting an awesome boat anyway! Wonder how much that Linc option is? I didn't know you could order without.

LINC would be a deal breaker regardless. As nice as the 230 is, and it is but hand throttling the kids in the mid to low teens mph and holding 10.5 is a pain. NSS is the equipment that really shines and separates Nautique from the rest if you plan on surfing, it makes that much of a difference.
There's some gem used ones with better equipment on them, they all lose $$ so get it loaded with what you want.2013 SANTE 210

That boat without Linc would be great for someone focused solely on 20mph+ wake.
but if you plan to surf a lot, it'd be hard to justify that kind of money and completely miss what the NSS brings.
There is not reason to avoid the electronics and Linc for fear of failures.... Like you see with Malibu and their MTC failures . It's legit, easy to use and works very well.2019 G23 450

The 2008-2009 Nautique 230 used Zero Off very similar to perfect pass they use GPS for the speed control. Also has a ski locker that locks for storage in the floor which you can add a piggy back Fat Sack for extra ballast.
2010 -2011 has Linc 1.0 , but it was the first version and can't be upgraded to NSS. ( unless you used Lenco dual Led switches and were to get a 12-13 NSS setup.
2012- 2013 has Linc 2.0 and you can add NSS to the boat.
Same Hull and Transom from the 2008 - 2013 230 boats ( technically you could get a NSS system from a 12-13 it would fit on a older boat ( I.e 2008-2011 ) with no lLinc.
I just completed this on my 2009 SANTE 230 3 weeks ago.
2014 they changed the transom area to make it flat to better accommodate NSS.
Lenco Led Switch link ( plugs right into the lenco rams used for NSS).

Hope that helps..

I know that boat. (That is my closest dealership too.) If you don't care about NSS, I'm sure you can get a screaming good deal on that boat. It has been sitting on their lot for 2 years. Resale will suffer because it can't have NSS retrofitted - also the same reason the boat hasn't sold and you can probably get it really cheap. Look at the difference in value of 2012s and 2011s.Current: 2017 G23
