Clamp racks for g23

Mastercraft, Malibu and Supra all offer the clamp style racks. Nautique ought to at least offer it as an option.

In defense of Nautique I am pretty sure it is a quality issue for them.... they are definitely aware of the desire for them...

I don't understand above post. Nautique does not have ability to engineer/design and source something of quality?

Anybody ever try to purchase the Tige clamps? They would be relatively easily to adapt to a Nautique tower and they are made by PTM. But I suspect PTM can only sell to Tige dealers.

I have heard that in some situations the clamp rack damages the surf board, not fully crushing it but hairline cracks from clamping down. Has anyone had or heard of that problem with these racks?

I called PTM trying to get them to sell me clamp racks but they cannot as they only do exclusive deals directly with the manufacturers. The boards in the PTM clamp racks still move around when clamped in... I can move them around with my hand with little efffort... I would not be comfortable with that even though I really like the functionality of them.
