PN Friends,
I have placed the order for the 2015 PLANETNAUTIQUE G23. Normally when I order my boats, I have a buyer lined up to take possession of the boat at the end of the season. For 2015, several people have expressed interest, but nobody has stepped up with a deposit yet. I have another 7 days to make changes to the order.
If you're in the market for a G23, but have the option of waiting until October, 2015 to take possession, pre-purchasing the PN G23 could be a great deal for you! This boat will have some very unique features provided by Nautique and our site sponsors. Some of the unique features cannot be discussed publicly yet (although I can fill in any parties seriously interested in pre-purchasing the boat), but this boat will be incredible. Some things can be discussed. For example, once the boat has been completed at the Nautique factory, Roswell is picking the boat up and professionally installing top-of-the-line Roswell audio equipment, underwater lights and other accessories. Heater Craft is providing a hot/cold shower. Xtreme Heaters is installing an engine/bilge heater. One of our sponsors in-the-works may be building a custom additional ballast configuration just for this boat. There will undoubtedly be additional custom features as well.
The great thing about this is that if I can line up a pre-sale before the LAST CHANGE DATE on my order (9/12/2014), the person pre-purchasing the boat can choose the colors and options that this boat will have! This is probably the ONLY opportunity of its kind available anywhere for a G23. I don't know of anywhere else that a customer can configure a boat just like they want it, but then purchase it as a used boat, saving thousands of dollars in the process, but still get the exact boat that they want.
There are several features that this boat is required to have. Keep in mind that the PN boat is normally set up as a well-optioned demo boat. It is used in a number of industry events during the year, and in order to give a good showing for Nautique and White Lake Marine, along with PLANETNAUTIQUE, it needs to be optioned fairly well.
The following options are required for the 2015 PN G23: 450 or 550 HP engine (XR or XS), Nautique Surf System, Bimini (Tower Mounted OR Z5), Cover - Towable/Mooring, Freshwater Engine Flush System, Heater with Defroster, Ladder
Other options can be added if desired.
The boat will have custom PLANETNAUTIQUE SeaDek installed (no carpet). This can be changed to SeaDek with no PN logos at the time of ownership transfer at the buyer's expense if desired.
The trailer will be a Ram-Lin Double Axle Trailer with electric brakes. This can be upgraded (triple axle or other accessories) if desired.
The boat sale to the pre-purchaser will be completed in October of 2015. The boat will be sold as a USED BOAT, however the warranties (boat, hull/deck/stringer, and engine) will be transferred to the new owner at no cost to the new owner. At the time of ownership transfer, I will deliver the boat to White Lake Marine. They will make any necessary repairs, totally detail the boat and trailer, and prepare it for the new owner. The new owner will come to White Lake Marine to pick up the boat (or arrange for the boat to be shipped).
A deposit will need to be made at the time of order in order to hold the boat for the future owner. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE, but will, of course, go toward the purchase price of the boat. The amount of the deposit depends on the options ordered.
If you're interested in pre-purchasing the 2015 PN G23, please let me know. If you would like to speak to others who have previously pre-purchased PLANETNAUTIQUE boats, let me know and I can put you in touch with them. I think you'll find that their experiences have been extremely positive.
So, if you're looking for a boat that is built to your order, but don't want to pay the price for a new G23, this may be a great deal for you. The savings can be significant, and you will always be welcome to come spend time on the boat during the year!
Send me a PM here if you're interested!
Thanks,
Jeff
