Quick question

I have the opportunity to purchase a 2001 model year nautique 196 with the gt-40 with perfect pass,heater, and trailer with less than 200 hrs on engine for 23,000? what do you guys think. I have owned supras an want to upgrade. What are some things to look for.

I'd say look for your checkbook. If it has a trailer, that's a pretty good
deal. If you are a skier, you won't find a better wake. GT40 is a great
motor (I've had 2).

I have 1350 hours on mine and it runs flawlessly. 23K with trailer sounds right in the ballpark.

Be careful with trusting hours, if it is the same as my 01 SAN the guages had been replaced once so the hours weren't accurate. You can unscrew the dash board and look at the stickers on the back of the guages and they will have a year like 01 or 02 and it will let you know if they have been replaced. Sounds like a great deal though...

I have the same boat with 237 hrs. If the one that you are looking at is in good condition, buy it. I wouldn't sell mine for less than 26. Shop around on the internet and you will find this boat can bring as much as 30.

You will love it! sounds like an awsome deal! Have the local dealership do a compression check on the engine and look it over...They can also verify hours...if everything checks out, I agree with bkhallpass, find your checkbook!
