I have a 07 236, running 4k ballast with custom surf tabs.... It can make one of the nicest port waves out there! It's all about how you load it! We have a regular crew that rides and we have tried many configurations.
Without going to a G 23 they are hard to beat when set up correctly. We have G 23 as well in our crew and use the 236 as a surf boat often.
